Our teachers pride themselves on differentiating instruction to best meet student needs all the time, but as mathematical concepts become more complex, we're committed to doing so on another level. Honors math classes allow middle school students to enroll in classes, leveled one year ahead, while simultaneously running an on-level math class, both taught by expert math teachers. This means a few things: class sizes for math are even smaller, allowing for more individualized instruction and those who participate in honors math will have completed high school Algebra I while still at SMS!
